Welcome to Thompson Family Acupuncture

Thompson Family Acupuncture Clinic was founded by Lindsey Thompson in 2013. Breanne Thompson took over the clinic in 2023 to continue serving the Walla Walla valley community.

Our clinic honors and respects all forms of diversity — race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disabilities. All are welcome and respected in our space.

We also honor and respect the land that we practice our medicine on. Walla Walla is located on the land that once belonged to the people of the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla tribes, the people of many waters. I am grateful to this land and its ancestors. Thank you for welcoming me and my ancestors, the people of the desert. Thank you for allowing me to connect with this land and to bring my medicine to the people of the Walla Walla valley.

Although I was born and raised in Washington state, I have ancestral roots in Arizona. Part of my family lineage comes from the Tohono O’odham tribe in southern Arizona. I feel a strong connection to my ancestors on this side of my family and I often ground myself in this connection before stepping into a treatment room. My great great grandmother was a medicine woman for our tribe and I feel honored to have received this gift from her.

I love working with the unique needs of each individual. This means every session with me may be unique as it is tailored to fit your personal needs of the day and use that as the foundation of my treatments in each visit.

I received my Masters in Acupuncture & East Asian Medicine from Bastyr University in 2020. I then received additional mentorship from Jim Dowling in Seattle, WA where I was trained in the use of Master Tung and balance methodologies in acupuncture. Prior to attending Bastyr, I obtained my Masters in Mind-Body Medicine from Saybrook University in 2014, so I also enjoy offering support for stress reduction techniques and self-connection.

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, I was a massage therapist for 17 years. I trained in craniosacral, visceral synthesis, and intraoral massage. I have many ways to look at and listen to the body! Unfortunately, I no longer offer massage as a stand alone service, but I do often incorporate these techniques into acupuncture treatments.

I was born and raised in Western Washington and moved to Walla Walla in 2023 with my family. We love exploring new places, road trips, hiking, and visiting every park and coffeeshop in town.

My intention with every visit is that the treatment you receive is the treatment you need. I work with the unique needs of each individual and listen to what the body is asking for each day.

I want to understand each patient’s experience and fully show up for them in each appointment. I use my time intentionally so I can be present with each person.

Education for myself and my patients. I strive to continue learning in this field and to learn about my patients on a daily basis. I also educate my patients about their body, health, and lifestyle changes they can make as part of their care.

I’m passionate about what I do and I am devoted to my work and my patients. I love seeing my patients get better and I do my best to help them move toward the results they want to see.
